At the end of the week, I will be travelling with my family on a long-haul flight to Italy. I’m sure by now you’re almost sick of hearing about it. 🙂 It’s not only a long “overnight” flight to Italy, but we also have to make it through the first leg to Dallas. TX for our connecting flight.
The bag I will be using as my personal item is this Anti-Theft Signature Tote from Travelon.
Usually I travel with a suitcase and a backpack for a carry on. However, for luggage on this trip, we will be taking backpacks, so I will need something else to use as my underseat personal item. For this reason, I decided on a tote with a long cross body strap to use as my secondary item.
I will need to have some certain items on-hand to try and make both flights more comfortable. Here’s a picture of some of the items that will be in my carry-on.
The complete list of items includes:
- Travel Pillow
- Eye Mask and Ear Plugs
- Passports
- Wallet
- Phone
- Paperwork Folder
- iPad
- Kindle or Book
- Travel Emergency Bag {video}
- Noise Cancelling Headphones
- Gum and Snacks (going in my husband’s carry on)
- Camera Equipment
- Prescription Medication
- Cords and Chargers for All Our Devices
These are the items that I take with me in order to feel comfortable on a plane. What are your go-to items for in-flight comfort?
