When we went to Las Vegas for our anniversary, there was a NASCAR event that day, so the pickings for hotel rooms was slim. We were able to book our usual Wyndham resort for Sunday through Tuesday, but getting a room on Saturday night proved to be difficult. Well, difficult to find one that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Enter Sam’s Club Travel… I admit, I always remember to check Costco Travel for deals on rental cars, cruises, and hotels. But, for some reason, I always forget to check Sam’s. This time, I didn’t forget and I got us an amazing deal on a hotel room at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall!

Sure, it’s an older hotel and it’s not on the strip, but I almost prefer it that way. We had a rental car, so we could run across the street to Walmart for any necessities that we needed and there was ample free parking. The rooms at Sam’s Town had recently been updated, so I wanted to share with you our room (Room 773) in case anyone was looking for a budget-friendly hotel option in Las Vegas!

FYI, like most hotels in Las Vegas, there is a daily resort fee added to their nightly rate. For Sam’s Town, it was $25.98 per night.
