HI Jenny … I saw your you tube video of your verandah room on the Nieuw Amsterdam – 4th floor room 4132. We have just booked a cabin at 4127 and my husband is wondering if this location was noisy located above the MainStage on deck 3? Also, the verandah does not have the glass balcony sides – was this a big disappointment for the balcony room?

Hi Nancy! Thanks for watching my video! I don’t remember any noise coming from the theater in our room. It was relatively quiet. I was a bit disappointed with not having the glass balcony sides – especially on an Alaskan cruise. When you sat in the chairs on the balcony, it was hard to see past the railing. This especially bothered us on the Glacier Bay day. Hope that helps!
Thanks so much for your reply. We are thinking it may be worth the additional money to go higher up for a glass balconey .. i think you cobfirmed it!
