It’s time to go on a big trip. You’re super excited. You’re all packed and ready to go. But wait, is there something you’re forgetting? For me, I do almost as much to get our home ready for travel as I do to get myself ready. Today, I’m sharing my pre-travel checklist while I am getting ready for our next cruise!

We are heading out soon for ten days away from home. I am working this week to check things off my pre-travel checklist, so I can leave a fairly clean house. The only reason I do this is because I am probably going to return with dirty clothes and a lot of stuff that needs to be put away. If the house is already clean, it makes the process of coming home so much easier. And since I’ll probably be exhausted after a long plane ride from overseas (not to mention crazy jet lag), anything that makes that time easier is fine by me.

If you downloaded my pre-travel checklist before when we went to Alaska, you might notice there are a few changes. First, I have organized all my tasks by when I need to have them completed. This makes it so much easier to get things done and not push everything off until the last minute!

Now that we’ve got the document, let’s see how I get it all done!
